ePortfolio: Assessment Tool

ePortfolios, both in the United States and across Europe, are increasingly incorporated as an Assessment Tool within Inclusive Education.

One focal point for our Riga '10 Conference is Assessment.

Collaboration on ePortfolios as an Alternative/Inclusive Assessment Tool is appropriate and relevant.

Scaffolding thoughts: Standards Drive Choice of ArtifactsDesign of Rubrics Observation of Reflection

Our work would: (i) Align CEC Standards, INTASC Standards, Curriculum Specific Standards, and Early Childhood Standards
(ii) Identify a set of appropriate Artifacts
(iii) Draft Artifacts-specific Rubrics
(iv) Demonstrate Alternative Assessment in support of Reflective/deeper Learning.
